The five CMS alumni will officially be inducted at the department’s annual Hall of Fame Banquet which is scheduled to be held at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum on Claremont McKenna College’s campus on Saturday, Nov. 8.

“The Hall of Fame Class of 2014 continues CMS’ tradition of recognizing great alumni who were so impactful on their respective teams and the experiences of their teammates,” said Sutton. “I am so pleased that we will be able to celebrate their careers at the Hall of Fame celebration in November. This event brings back so many great alumni and memories of their achievements. It is truly a ‘feel good’ event, one that will be here before we know it!”

Inductees are in alphabetical order by last name
Mike Dawe ’89 (CMC-Men’s Basketball): As a member of a two-time SCIAC championship men’s basketball team during his four years on the squad (1985-89), Dawe was a three-time All-SCIAC selection, team captain and team MVP as a senior in 1989 and an All-Region selection as a junior. Both seasons that the Stags won the SCIAC championship, the team also advanced to NCAA postseason play. During his junior and senior years he was named first team All-Conference after earning second team All-Conference as a sophomore.
