Awards pile up for fall student-athletes

Individual accolades come along with team success, and so several CMS student-athletes racked up their fair share of conference, regional and national awards during the fall. The Athenas’ and Stags’ fall accolades included: nine All-Americans, 22 All-Region selections, 19 All-SCIAC first-team selections, 18 All-SCIAC second-team selections and one SCIAC Newcomer of the Year. Also, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) selected John Goldhammer as the West Region Men’s Cross Country Coach of the Year.
