Lichtenberg selected to play for Maccabi USA

Senior Elijah Lichtenberg (CMC) on the men's soccer team was recently selected to represent the United States at the 20th World Maccabiah Games in Israel, July 4-18, 2017. Maccabi USA is an organization that endeavors to build Jewish pride through sports.
Gurr is Pitcher of the Year; five Athenas named to All-SCIAC Teams

Five members of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps softball team were selected to the All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Team, as announced on Monday afternoon. Junior Anna Gurr (CMC) was honored as the Pitcher of the Year for the second consecutive season sophomore transfer Ande Troutman (CMC) earned Newcomer of the Year honors.
Kingsmen take two back from Stags in doubleheader

After a thrilling 5-4 victory over No. 16 Cal Lutheran on Friday, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps baseball team tried to play spoiler in Saturday’s road doubleheader against the Kingsmen, but ended up falling in both games 5-0 and 5-2, respectively.
Shaw and Shuman announced as Jack Nicklaus Award Semifinalists

On Friday, juniors Jonathan Shaw (CMC) and Matt Shuman (CMC) were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America as Semifinalists for the Jack Nicklaus Award presented by Barbasol. They are two of just thirty semifinalists nationwide in Division III, and the only ones from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Parodi and Morkovine capture Ojai singles and doubles titles

Freshman Nikolai Parodi (CMC) was given an opportunity to replace senior teammate Glenn Hull (CMC) in the 117th Ojai Tournament just a day before play began. He responded by winning the singles and doubles titles, defeating senior teammate Daniel Morkovine (CMC) 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 for the singles crown, and then teaming with Morkovine for the first time to capture the doubles championship.

Both the men's and women's track and field programs from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps earned Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships in dramatic fashion on Saturday afternoon.

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s lacrosse team advanced to the SCIAC Final on Saturday afternoon after defeating the University of Redlands at home 17-6 in an otherwise gritty affair.

Eller’s walk-off caps senior day comeback

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps baseball team could not have asked for a better ending to its final home game of the regular season. Junior Chase Eller (CMC) smacked a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning to put the Stags (15-19, 9-12) past Cal Lutheran 5-4.

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps softball team split with Cal Lutheran in the final home double header of the regular season. The Athenas (20-16, 17-9) won game one handily, 9-0 in five innings, but then fell 2-1 to the Regals (16-18, 13-13) in an extra innings affair.
SCIAC selects 10 Athenas for year-end awards

Following a spectacular undefeated run through the conference during the regular season, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's lacrosse team saw 10 of its athletes recognized by the SCIAC while head coach Lauren Uhr won Coach of the Year.
