Stags show composure in victory over rival Pomona-Pitzer

Freshman Miles President (HMC) seemed undeterred by the raucous crowd at the Rains Center on Saturday night, scoring a career-high 18 points in his first Sixth Street Rivalry game to lead the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's basketball team (15-1, 8-0) to a 73-67 victory over Pomona-Pitzer (10-7, 6-2).
Three pool records set in victory over Cal Lu and Caltech

Three pool records were set in Saturday’s double dual meet with Cal Lutheran and Caltech. Both the men’s and women’s teams for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps were victorious on the day beating CLU 153-68 (Stags) and 173-64 (Athenas), while taking Caltech 170-40 (Stags) and 197-30 (Athenas).
CMS seniors go 8-0 against Sagehens

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s basketball team retains control of Sixth Street for the fourth year in a row with the 46-35 victory over Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday night. The Athenas got off to a hot start and then held onto a lead down the stretch when the Sagehens challenged. CMS sits in first place in the SCIAC standings at 8-2 with eight games left on the schedule.
Scarlett scores 25 points in comeback victory over La Verne

Thursday night’s showdown between the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s basketball (14-1, 7-0) team and the University of La Verne (11-6, 5-3) was an explosive affair as fans were at the edge of their seats until the final whistle, but the hosts prevailed 90-81 to remain undefeated in SCIAC play.
Swim and Dive named to CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Men and Women’s Swim and Dive programs have been named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team today.
Monster first half earns win over La Verne

The Athenas went off for 47 points in the first half to ultimately beat La Verne 69-46 in the Wednesday night SCIAC competition. CMS (11-7, 7-2) remains in second place in the conference standings with seven games left on the schedule.
