Swim & dive sweeps 19 events vs. Chapman

After a tight loss on the previous day, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps swim and dive team bounced back to sweep the podium in 19 of 32 events in the SCIAC dual meet with Chapman. The men won with the score of 228-46 while the women's team more than doubled Chapman's points as well, winning 208-89.

Stags host block party in Caltech win

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s basketball team (10-1, 3-0) protected its undefeated home record with authority, blowing out Caltech 78-53 on Saturday night. The Stags combined for seven blocks and seven steals, surrendering only eight field goals inside the arc.

Athenas put together strong second half to beat Caltech

A 24-point third quarter took the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball (8-5, 4-1) team past Caltech (2-11, 0-4) in the conference matchup on Saturday evening. After a shaky first quarter, the Athenas regained composure and tallied just three turnovers in the rest of the game to win 59-44.

Women’s team comes up short against Cal Baptist

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s swim and dive team saw two top finishes in the annual dual meet with Cal Baptist on Friday afternoon. The Athenas kept the competition close through the first eight events but then were unable to maintain momentum to close the gap near the end for the 150-93 final score.

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s swim and dive team ended up just nine points behind Cal Baptist in the annual dual meet with the Lancers, losing 125-116. In the one-of-a-kind meet, just fractions of seconds separated the teams in a few races to make for an exciting competition.

An offensive surge in the second half was enough to help the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s basketball team (9-1, 2-0) cruise past University of Redlands (4-7, 0-2) on the road, as the Stags won their second game in conference play 75-59.

Three players on the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s basketball team were in double-digit scoring in last night’s 59-43 victory over Redlands. The Athenas were successful inside against the Bulldogs (4-7, 1-1), scoring 34 of their 49 points from the field in the paint.
