On the 3-meter boards, her score of 296.10 was a zone qualifier by more than 30 points and also was an Axelrood Pool record.  CMS will next compete against Pomona-Pitzer on Feb. 6 before the SCIAC Championships on Feb. 18-21 in La Mirada.

====================== Winter – Men========================

Men’s Basketball
The Stags rebounded nicely last week, stringing together a pair of wins to put them one game out of a tie for the fourth (and final) SCIAC Postseason Tournament berth. The Stags fell to Pomona-Pitzer early in the week but earned convincing wins over Cal Lutheran and Caltech. Senior center Shelby Lane (CMC ’16) came through clutch for CMS in the two wins with 14 points in each game to lead all scorers. The 8-9, 3-6 SCIAC Stags will get an opportunity to improve upon their seventh-place standing in the SCIAC this week at home against Whittier on Feb. 3 and at Occidental on Feb. 6.

Men’s Swimming and Diving

The CMS swimming and diving teams improved to 7-0 against SCIAC opponents by defeating La Verne over the weekend on Senior Day at Axelrood Pool.
